Kimberly grew up surrounded by the dappled shade of towering firs in the shadow of Mount Si, where she spent her childhood afternoons exploring the woods and marveling at the magical transformation of seasons in the natural forest. These formative experiences nurtured a deep love for nature and its ever-changing beauty—a passion that has shaped her life and work.

As an adult, Kimberly transformed a rustic one-acre property in Woodinville into breathtaking native plant gardens. With winding walking paths and vibrant blooms spanning ten months of the year, her garden became a living canvas for her creativity and dedication to color, texture, and natural design.

At home, Kimberly & her wife Cheri celebrate each season with flair, adorning their front porch with imaginative displays that reflect nature’s rhythm—from daffodils and bird nests in spring to cattails and pumpkins in autumn, evergreen swags with pinecones and red twig dogwood in winter. Their porch is a testament to the joy of embracing seasonal transitions.
